After an unfortunately inauspicious start that warranted a complaint, Helmores rallied and put things right straight away. Helmores' owner, Rob, was honest, transparent and very respectful in listening to and accepting my concerns. He quite rightly has a lot of faith in Rona who took over the sale of my property. She was extremely helpful, proactive and responsive in her communication. The mark of excellent client service is not merely in getting things right 100% of the time - this isn't necessarily possible. It is also in how things are managed when things go wrong. Top marks, and thanks Rona.
Comment on agent fees
The whole world and their uncle will complain about Estate Agents' fees - and I am no exception. That said, Helmores' fees are very reasonable.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
