Less than 24 hours before having to do the check in, I got a call from the agency telling us that all of a sudden, we had to stay in a different place. Luckily the location was also quite good but once we got the place, what we found was the most dirty and disgusting apartment I have ever seen. It is a shame that it isn't possible to post pictures on that website but besides the dirt and dust, there were also cockroaches, the cutlery and, in general all the kitchenware, was so dirty that it couldn't be used. The bath was blocked so we had to use a plunger every time we need to had a shower. Due to the apartment location and since it wasn't equipped with soundproof windows, sleeping was almost impossible.

Where I come from, this would be completely unacceptable but due to the few days we were supposed to stay (only 3 nights), we finally decided not to ask for a refund what would have meant to start looking for a new place to stay and in the end, having to spend much more than our initial budget.

As, I guess, almost everybody does, I have to work the whole year for getting a few days off, and it is quite miserable, that some people/renting agencies, profit from doing these kind of things.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The office staff is negligent. I need assistance and no one is taking responsibility. It is hard to communicate, they don't speak fluent English. The rental property needs work The only plus is the location.
