Will never touch them again with a 10ft barge pole.
To begin with, when picking the keys up for my home I was greeted wth the keys might work we haven't checked. To only understand that the keys were handed in, in the morning by the previous tenants. Kingstons them told me that even though I was paying full rent for a summer month, that I could move into my house but since no checks were made I'd have to move my things into one corner of the house and live out of a suitcase until they sent someone round. Great start.
After obtaining the keys to the home, I later found out that Kingstons hadn't bothered to tell me the cleaners hadn't been yet and the place was thick with grime and muck...totally un-liveable. There was also a large amount of household waste outside of my bedroom door (a downstairs room leading to the garden). With it being a moderately hot July month, I expected the rubbish to be taken away within the week. Four weeks later, after phone calls to them daily and being hung up on,. they picked the rubbish up. Three weeks after moving into my home, Kingstons sent the cleaners, who merely mopped the floor and wiped the worktops down...
It took them over a month to fix the home with fire alarms and are still yet to fix our falling apart bathroom.
For a letting agents, their lack of communication is outstanding, and trying to get any money back from them through their fault is unbelievable. For an agency which is fuelled by students, their attitude towards us was disgusting. Never will I ever choose to go with Kingstons again and I'd advise everyone to stay away.

It’s actually funny you say that because when I telephoned your office back to speak to a manager I was told there is nothing that can be done as this office is in fact head office. I was told by one of the female staff that speaking to a manager wouldn’t change anything so I asked for an email to email my complaint and was giving a normal email address for enquiries.
