We came in from Zurich to view some properties. We first called as we were running late due to traffic and called again when we got lost. The gentleman we were supposed to meeting at the property then became rude & abusive and told us to call him when we got there & he would "see if he could come out" to show us the proeprty. On top of being so rude on the phone he made no attempt to ask where we were or to try to guide and help us find our way. Poor show!

Having just discovered this site it would have been good practice for the website operators or person posting the comments to have notified us that a comment had been listed. We would then have been able to review the comment and offer our side of the story. As it is, this posting is three years old so I cannot reasonably recall the situation. Looking at the archive diary we have no person listed with the name Jane Thornton booked in for that day or the preceeding days. All negotiators have a very busy diary with one appointment to follow another etc. If a prospective tenant is late then we cannot wait too long for them as it will throw the rest of the diary out and inconvenience a lot of other people (including incumbent tenants who we notify 24 hours in advance of a viewing). I also doubt that the person was rude just infuriated that the person who booked the appointment could not be on time. We do appreciate that sometimes people can get delayed, as we occassionally do, for a few minutes. In this instance as the person was late then lost I suspect the delay was considerable.
