As a landlord, I find David Rolph very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the business. I have never had a complaint from my tenants (mostly students) with regards to SWR and we are now increasingly having tenants that would like to stay in the same property for more than one and sometimes two years, which speaks for itself. The entire process from assessing the property, finding suitable tenants and handing over is slick, thorough and hassle-free for me and my tenants.
If any issues arise, David gives his advice and recommendations but also checks what outcome we desire prior to dealing with the issue. This is handled in a very professional manner. I am very grateful for the excellent service SWR Lettings provide.

Very reasonable fees, although there is no discount for not using a guarantor (some lettings agencies will then waive the guarantor referencing fee).

One of the reasons people may not come to you directly is due to the fact there is a lack of communication on your part throughout a contract. It is difficult enough to try to get an item fixed, and after having to wait 6 months for this to be done, let along trying to complain. What are you going to do if clients or tenants complain? I am David Rolph, I deal with many hundreds of students each year and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoy it, however, just occasionally things go wrong. The tenants in question I found to be really nice throughout the tenancy so was a little disappointed to read that the feelings weren't mutual, however, I can see why they ended up being disappointed. It's a shame these people are allowed to make anonymous comments based on no real fact and just their personal feelings. Some prospective tenants we deal with are quite rude, and students can be particularly useless when it comes to reading the documents we send them. They then get upset because of their mistake and write these ludicrous comments. Whoever you are, please give the office a call! ...
