We arrived in London in September 2011 and dealt with agencies since then to try to get a flat. Everyone turned us down or treated us very badly because we didn't correspond to the typical, UK-based prospective tenants, and we didn't have many references or UK-based guarantors. At Ellis and Co Bethnal Green, we finally felt that they were sympathetic with our situation and no efforts were spared in trying to accommodate our needs. Ashley Thompson was relentless, going as far as to take time from his day off to help us. We couldn't be happier or more grateful to Ashley and all the staff. We'll definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property in London!
