Land Registry & rights of way problems have made the completion of sale on this property a lengthy and difficult procedure.
The Stotfold branch were energetic in their efforts to secure a regular number of potential buyers for us, more than meeting our expectations of them and we thank all the team for their efforts.
However, without the help & expertise of Jan Howard at Hitchin branch I think the buyer and I could still be wallowing in a quagmire of legal problems. Jan absorbed the pressure from both sides as we battled with solicitors and the legal problems> Her constant pushing and checking on progress ensured no one including ourselves were permitted to slow the buying/selling process. Her constant E-mails and phone calls between all parties was conducted in a professional manner but with a personal touch which I believe made both parties feel comfortable in the negotiations.
If we have use for an agent in the near future we would not hesitate to use Country Properties again and especially Jan who I believe is a credit to her some times maligned profession and to Country Properties
