There is always a swift friendly response to any issue - but it would be nice to have no issues that need resolving. Although the response is swift the following action isn't always (ie please remove the let sign from the front of the property- good to let people know the property is successfully let- but its been over a month now). Had to amend the inventory quite substantially but moved in smoothly couple of annoying niggles as to be expected, eg took a while to get a second front door key, walls were unpainted, garden was a mess. just seemingly general neglect of the property eg drains were blocked- perhaps showing that previous tenants weren't visited to ensure maintenance of the property.
Paperwork seemed in order but contract a bit garbled and direct debit form wasn't checked properly resulting in a delay in our first payment. At the end of the day no different from any other lettings agent, long and short we are in a house we are happy with and our managing agent seems approachable and keen to help which is all we could ask for.
Comment on agent fees
fees consistent as with all agents- way too much for credit referencing, the usual 'admin fees' and advanced rent as to be expected
