As a Landlord with several properties rented through Greenwoods, I can confirm that they have been very professional agency with the best interests of both the tenant and landlord. I have experience many tenants over the last 30 years and would give Dracos a wide berth, maybe this is why Greenwoods made little initial contact. If "interested" tenants present such a demanding list before they move in you can only imagine what they would be like whilst in the property.
I own one particular 1930's house which was newly refurbished throughout and beautifully restored. The first tenant that moved into the house made no contact with my previous letting agents unless it was necessary but had to relocate with work. The second tenants moved in and immediately gave me list which included turfing the rear garden and upgrading the locks on the garage as they had expensive mountain bikes. During the cold snap 2 years ago they complained about their fuel bills being high and demanded cavity wall insulation. They said that all of these things would be a long term investment as they loved the property, they then moved out about 4 months later taking several items that didn't belong to them.
The new tenants, who are with Greenwoods are no problem at all and are a pleasure have in the property. It is shame that some tenants have unreasonable demands and unrealistic deadlines.
