After purchasing my property in april/may 2006 I was under the impression that HLM would sort out any problem within a reasonable length of time. How wrong I was! The list of problems is horrendous;-

Main water pump station failing on a friday afternoon in the first year and not being repaired until the following monday due to the lack of any emergency contact number. Fortunately my children were away that weekend.-no running water only a bauser sent in by the water board. (This event made the front page of the local newspaper The Burton Mail.

Security lighting to the exterior of all buildings on the site only worked for a period of 3 weeks until september of last year. despite continuous telephone calls to Mr John Ryan (Manager(my 13yr old could do a better job with his eyes shut!!)) informing him of the problem and reporting the fact that there were also bare electricity cables where a lamp unit was missing. Months later this had a temporary repair made to it. 5 months later and still awaiting a full repair.

Gardens last year were not tended to until midway through the summer when the grass in places had reached knee high.

In short I would strongly advise anybody thinking of purchasing a property managed by these cowboys to "steer clear!"
