Don't even know where to begin, this estate agents managed to get every single thing wrong at every opportunity! We decided to take a flat after a viewing, originally we found out we would need a guarantor, and we submitted an offer accordingly with one member of staff. After a few days we were told, by another member of staff, that the landlord was happy with the arrangement, only to then be told by yet another member of staff that she didn't know there was a guarantor and so she needed to let the landlord know, at this point the landlord agreed once again that it was fine. Then we were not contacted for days and only when we pestered them did we find out any more information, they managed to get the email address of the guarantor wrong, TWICE, which delayed things further, and then after that guarantor was deemed unsuitable, we had to find another, once again paying the non-refundable guarantor fee, on top of the fee we had already payed for their appalling service and complete incompetence. The final kick in the teeth was an email saying, nonchalantly, that they had told us the deposit was the wrong amount and it was going to be £100 more, despite the advertisement and several emails informing us of the supposedly incorrect price, however, it was only AFTER we had paid non-refundable fees that someone finally managed to spot their mistake, which in itself is shambolic and meant we could not back out, all of which was made worse when the email informing us of this did not even contain an apology!. Every member of staff had no idea what was going on, would only provide information after we followed it up and mistakes were made at every opportunity, all in all, we paid an extortionate amount of money to do all the work ourselves, only to then be told of yet another mistake. The staff here are the epitome of incompetence.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Rather than destroying property, they should have regular visit and as soon as they find out that tenants are not looking after the house as they should do, let me know.

1) stick to fair business practices: if you agree on a sale with a buyer, don't change your mind after 2) stick to professional business practices: if you book a viewing, turn up
