I am a current tenant with Belvoir Manchester and it is nearly impossible to get hold of any member of staff at their office, let alone get them to do any urgent repairs on their properties. They never respond to emails or calls and when you go to their office to make face to face contact they are never available and you are told that you have to make an appointment, this is far easier said than done as you can never actually get hold of anyone to talk to either by phone or by email. I am now to the point of getting legal advice and I will be informing the local council that they have yet to make any noises about doing urgent repairs that are vital to the overall safety of the building. They also inadvertently admitted to breaking the law when I last managed to get hold of them, with regards to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and my prospective lease renewal. When I move out (soon) I am not so eagerly anticipating the fight that I can only assume will break out when I attempt to get my deposit back, which I will be demanding in full as the property is in a better condition than when I first moved in. Unfortunately for them I am more than geared up for a legal fight, I am lucky and I can only assume there are other tenants of theirs out there who are not so lucky.
What agent could do to change your mind?
I had no problems their fees, although I feel that they don't deserve them.
