Your Company appear to be unaware that "speed is of the essence" when dealing with repossessed properties as the
property is not taken off the market until exchange of contracts.
1. After viewing the house on Thursday12th January an offer was made. I was informed that acceptance by the vendor would come through in the next two days - Monday at the latest. Having heard nothing by 4.00 pm on Monday, I rang the office for an update. The receptionist said that she thought the offer was accepted and later confirmed this to be correct.
2. Either no one asked in whose names the property was being purchased or they did not listen to my reply. As a result, both solicitors were incorrectly informed and the draft contract had to be returned for correction.
