We moved in and took over the tenancy from someone who wanted to move out. Apparently that was fine and we paid Morgan Randall to sort out all the paperwork and make sure it was all official. The troubles started when we moved out and gave one months notice earlier than the end of the tenancy (as we had a break clause).
Morgan randall would send letters to the wrong people and would claim that they had sent things when they hadn't, said they couldn't send things electonically when they could and then did when the letters got lost in the post.
For viewings of the flat we were constantly called, frequently calling up and asking for viewings with less than 24hours notice and being particularly pushy about it and very very rude when you made it clear that they couldn't view it.
Even more fun when we'd actually moved, the landlord had told Morgan Randall he no longer wanted them managing his property and had handed it to someone else, but still the original tenants before us started getting letters saying they were in rent arrears. When they called up to ask about the letter, the letter said the landlord was quite angry for not being paid and they should pay the whole months rent immediately, which is amazing when they weren't working for him anymore.
Morgan Randall - would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They have made a simple thing very stressful.

Following the review we had a letter for Morgan Randall saying that we were in rent arrears and that the landlord was angry and that they were going to start adding charges. It was quite a threatening letter. Phoned them up and the agent who I'd been dealing with for 2 months claimed he knew nothing about the property. Finally my partner got hold of a "manager" and he said that we should pay, not sure what for as the landlord doesn't use them and the tenancy had ended! Then he said he'd apologised to the previous tenants who were harassed because of their poor computer system. But he didn't apologise to use. We asked for a letter retracting the demands for money.... Haven't got one yet, am I surprised? No!
