I wish I had read these reviews before signing up with Clyde.
It took 7 months to get our house rented out, and during that time they had no helpful suggestions as to how to get tenants in. Communication was awful, we had to chase them, despite promises of weekly updates.
When they eventually found tenants, they told them the property would be unfurnished when we had clearly stated it would be part-furnished, resulting in us having to hire a van and make another trip to remove furniture. Despite it being their fault they offered no help. They refused to let our tenants move in on the day they wanted because they already had 4 sets of keys to release that day!
We have just received our first months rent - 9 working days after the tenants paid! It was paid into the wrong bank account and they charged us twice for the advertising fee. The agent we deal with neglected to tell us that a £250 & vat fee would be coming off the first month's rent when she confirmed the amount we would be receiving.
They are incompetent, inefficient and unhelpful. We will not be renewing our contract at the end of the current lease.
