When myself and my wife applied for our house, Belvoir were brilliant. We were met with a warm smile and a lovely atmosphere.

During our application, the staff became complicated. Thought there were a couple of parts of our application that weren't standard, we felt we had to repeat ourselves several times to ensure that it was clear that we could not meet all their requirements, however we would make this up by paying 6 months rent in advance.

Whilst we have been living in the property, Belvoir have responded to one serious issue but have refused to even acknowledge other requests. E.g. The front door handle feels like it may break, a gate to the back garden has a loose slat (we have a small child) and the bathroom light pull works intermittently, meaning sometimes its a dark trip to the loo at night.

We appreciated Belvoir's approach and professionalism before we handed over money but now feel we have been kicked to the curb now we have paid. Alot more communication would help us...

What agent could do to change your mind?
I suggest taat their office is too far from Lakenheath/Mildenhall to take on the management on USAF rental properties. With the office being in Bury St Edmunds, USAF personnel tend not to look at letting agents so far away. Please stick with local rentals and do not take on more than you can handle.
