We live far away from our properties so we rely completely on our management companies and Frankeys did it right. I wish we hadn't got so much proof of that: our series of properties in the region were problematic. But Frankeys was our second firm and with the previous one it was just so hard to get them on the phone. With Frankleys, they always were on top of everything and kept us informed. They advised us on maintanance issues, they arranged work we wanted. And the real benefit to us, the real thing that made us rate Frankeys highly is that when we'd ask them to do something they'd do it. Ring Janette, tell her what you want and you just knew it would get done promptly and efficiently.
If Frankeys had branches across the country, we would be using them across the country.
Comment on agent fees
You'd always want to pay less but FranKeys was pretty much on a par with a firm we'd previously used in the region and the service was gigantically better.

I agree completely, I have a friend who a while back was letting from them and they were nothing but awful to her the whole time. Unhelpful, unavailable, uninformative and damn right greedy. As for the renewal fees. Those are actually illegal. If you check your rights online you will see that unless you actually need to renew for the 6 extra months for some strange reason, they are not allowed to make you renew for that whole amount of time. It should turn into a month by month type of situa ...

Deal with requests in a polite manner and actually call back when they say they will. Don't belittle people when we pay your salary.

Tenants are given advanced notice of inspections that are carried out in accordance with their contracts. We are concerned about this review of Janette as she is very professional and has always attracted good comments. We apologise that you had a bad experience which we feel is unusual as we strive to offer a high level of customer service. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

In the unlikely event that you are not happy with the service or products we offer we would like to hear about it.

Firstly we would as you to put in an email or in written letter your concerns and issues. Ideally with as much detail as possible so that we can fully investigate your complaint. We will come back to you within 14 Days from receipt of your complaint in writing.

If you are still not happy and wish to complain further you can appeal our findings internally. You will need to put this in writting and we will again respond within 14 days from receipt of your second letter.

Should you still be unhappy and feel that you have grounds to continue with your complaint your complaint will be forwarded to the The Property Ombudsman for arbitration.
