I was extremely disappointed in the service I received (or not) from Beals at Hedge End. I had telephoned twice on the Monday and spoke to Barry (who was very polite and assured me had passed my telephone messages onto Lettings and they would call me back.)
I then sent an online request for a call back from Lettings and had still not received acknowledgment. I rang the Office again on the Tuesday and spoke with Adrian to which he advised one of the properties was Let. I advised I would go back on the site and have a further look at potential properties. I came across White Way on the website to which I contacted the Office again and spoke to a Matt in Lettings. He was very abrupt and rude. I passed my details on and arranged a viewing for Whites Way for the following day.
I later received a call from Matt advising me a holding deposit had been taken on Whites Way I then expressed my disappointment in not having my calls returned the previous day, not being told previously that viewings were obviously being taken that day on the property to which I could have attended. Once again he was very rude stating that the deposit had only been taken an hour previously so he "had no idea what my problem was" and then put the phone down on me.
What agent could do to change your mind?
1) Return Customer calls
2) Learn how to treat customers in a respectful way
3) Telephone etiquette
4) Be polite
5) Never hang up the phone on a Customer
