My story is too long to relate on here as there were so many incidents. Mainly miss management and lies and me being out for pocket by £3000. Due to total mismanagement and false inspections. And discovered he hadn't taken a deposit so I got no money back to repair my property after tenants trashed the place. Sharon having supposedly inspected the place 3wks prior and said the place was pristine and we'll looked after.
Sharon SHANLEY and Michael Annan should really be struck off by now but they are not members of any approved umbrella organisation so they answer to no one.
My reason for posting is that I noticed that he had several bad reviews on here all describing him perfectly.
I know he was perturbed by them as he told me early in our relationship. HE had asked me to put in a good review to counteract them.
I didn't, as I kind of recognised traits he had from the reviews and knew folk that had had a bad experience of him. I still at that point thought he was a bit inefficient but was taken in by his charm a bit and promises to leave it to him to take care of my property.
I have since seen that there are a couple of good reviews came in. However I found out that at least one is false(from a former member of staff) and another is someone I know who has since had big problems with him.
He seems to do OK with house sales as these are short and sharp but house let's are ongoing so over time he gets sloppy and dosent really look after your property. So this is where cracks show. SHANLEY much more efficient. SHANLEY is as bad if not worse and I believe she has set up on her own so beware.
II went to a solicitor who said I had grounds to Sue but although my case was strong I had got very ill with the stress so opted to cut my losses and move on.
Don't take my word as I am obviously an unhappy customer but please do your research before touching these folk with a barge pole.
What agent could do to change your mind?
He could do nothing now. Too many false apologies and promises. I gave him benefit of doubt many times.

I contacted you personally regarding your experience since my departure from Annan Property and offered to help you with no obligation after you offered me your property to manage.
Further, I explained to you on my routine inspections of the property that it appeared to be in good order and furnished you with photographic proof at that time.
Both you and your husband also visited the property on many occasions to conduct maintenance issues, therefore if there was evidence of damage you would have been aware of it at that time, the damaged I believe (As I did not complete the final check out) was marks on the flooring in the lounge which at the time of inspections was covered by a large rug.
Agents are limited when they do inspections if other peoples items and furnishing are in the property. If the tenants stole your hall carpet on their departure and I was no longer an agent at Annan I could not be held responsible, your acting agent at that time could have consulted with the council regarding the damage for compensation.
Letting property does not always run smooth and your property was managed in the region of some 3 years and to my knowledge done professionally and efficiently, otherwise you would not have allowed Annan to manage this for that period of time.
I did not rent your property to these tenants ,at that time I was with another firm.
To cast aspersions on my professionalism and character I feel is totally unjustified.
