Christopher Daniel is an agent who every buyer or seller aspires to meet with.
To begin with I left KFH to Leonard Leese and thought of leaving Leonard Leese for another agent before Chris took exclusive charge of the sale process and continued till a sale was effected at a good price with very good service from him -all through.
Before Chris intervened in the process appointments were made incoherently and in an adhoc fashion without regard to terms already discussed When a client is selling a property his schedule and hi sperson also need to be respected.
Before Chris took over NOT all emails or calls were respnded to .Even those that were responded to did not happen expeditiously most times.Chris always called me back if he was unable to take my call for any reason. His response to emails and texts was expeditious and satisfactory.
Chris has relevant personal attributes and character disposition of a successful agent.This is because he is capable of intiating and fostering good relationship with clients,Although he was my estate agent when I met him , I later had him as a friend and nothing was going to make me go to another agent no matter how long I was waiting for.This a great achievement indeed. He won my trust and Icouldnt have asked for more.
Chris has charm.He was well presented,respectful ,amiable,personable and speaks with with conviction.Its good to show the client some respect otherwise he leaves.Many agents still dont know that.Some agents prefer to focus on speaking 'Property Jargon' and think they can win clients over with that.They need to take a lesson from Chris,
Towards the end of the sale process we had three contenders who were doing their best to outbid each other. Chris told me that he would discuss with them and advise on who to recommend although we had the final say. Fortunately the man he asked us to focus on was the final buyer who actually had enough funds to keep outbidding the rest AND the man actually got on with Chris as well.
Chris was able to arrange a few things between us because he got on very well with both of us.It was amazing. Chris also advised on this man because he actually had a good deposit prior to arranging his mortgage.He got his funds ready long before we found a place.He was ready to go as soon as we were ready.Smooth ride all through;courtsey of Chris.
There is another thing for which we remain very grateful to Chris. The person who finally bought our property was buying for his children .Although he was thinking of moving in after a little while,Chris later convinced him to give us time to search for a suitable property.This took a lot of stress from our house-hunting exercise because we all work in my household and it wasnt easy to be viewing during the weekdays.This was another big bonus.
When we exchanged, Chris was invloved in trying to get us a temporary place to stay pending completion of work at our new address.Unfortunately Leonard leese only had unfurnished properties at that time so we could not proceed. But the point is that Chris took us himself to view these properties an dthat was a good gesture.
We completed on the 21st of July ;but uptil date Chris still contacts us whenever our mail is handed to him by the present occupant of our previuos address. When you move and redirect letters not all letters actually get spotted and redirected by Royal mail. That is why you need someone like Chris behind you. Moving especially with a family is a very daunting task and anyone who makes it far much easier for you is doing you a big favour. I have read that movig is the second most stressful event after divorce. I moved with a family and we were lucky to have Chris.
Finally the money bit. We got a very good price for our property and that was way above our expectations. So we got exclellent service with good bucks. and we are smiling.
There is therefore NO reason on earth why my wife and I will not recommend Chris to anyone wanting to buy or sell. I still have my friends in SE1 and having heard my story (including the price at which we sold) they plan to move eventually.No prizes for guessing what I will do
