I had bad experience with him, viewed the property for sale. Given offer same as listing price & offer agreed by house owner & process started with valuation. After Valuation completed, he said another person offered higher quote, so we can't proceed with you, I agreed new offer with increased quote more than valuation price. this time bank send mortgage approvals to solicitor. Again i have been told another offer accepted is higher than you. This time directly tried to contact house owner he said i'm happy to proceed with your offer but agent not allowing him. Again given new increased quote, but this time bank told me to pay extra agreed amount with deposit. My wife was very convinced with that property so I've agreed for that, but he requested for 10% deposit amount to accept my offer. Still go ahead & paid deposit directly to them. After solicitor progress his document work & send mail that agent rejected the sale. I tried to contact him same story again expecting more money. I have requested for my deposit back and also he promised to return my valuation fee. But after that he did't pick my calls & if i reach his office number he will always say in meeting. Such a greedy person, instead he can beg on road. Please all avoid that agent & Adrian for any purpose..

Hello Raj. Thank you for your feedback, albeit that it is some 12 months after the event. I appreciate that you were disappointed that you failed to secure the property that you wanted to buy. As you were aware when you viewed the house, it was being sold via an informal tender process and offers were invited. We received 12 offers and could have sold the property several times over. The house was marketed with a Guide Price (not asking price of valuation) of £395,000 to £415,000. It actually sold for £432,000. At the end of the day an estate agent has a duty to act in the best interests of the buyer and this is what we did to achieve the best price. I am disappointed that you have chosen to vent your frustration in such a personalised manner but please rest assured that we acted with integrity and professionalism throughout the whole process. I am forwarding your review to the vendor of the property and will ask him to comment on his experience of our service.

This is a vexatious and malicious review from a disgruntled former tenant that admitted lying to secure the property in the first instance and were found by the independent DPS arbitrator to have committed multiple breaches the terms of the tenancy agreement. Despite agreeing to accept the decision of an independent arbitrator the tenants are now clearly venting there misplaced bitterness at ourselves and the reputation of our business.
