Gareth was a tenant for a six month period. The only complaint the company received from him during his tenancy was about the poor quality of the wifi. This issue was promptly addressed, during his stay, by installing fixed wired internet to each of the rooms.
Communication by email is requested as it allows us to ensure all messages are logged and dealt with efficiently and effectively and provides both parties with records of any issues and their remedy.
The property Gareth took a tenancy in is a large Victorian semi-detached house with 13 bedrooms. All of our prospective tenants have the opportunity of seeing a video prior to viewing the property in person. The rent reflected the standard of the property and was a very reasonable £330 per month for a double room including all bills. As a large compliant HMO it is inspected by the council to ensure it is in keeping with the HMO standards - the entire building was inspected during Gareth's tenancy and it has been awarded a further 5 year HMO licence.
Many of the tenants in this property have chosen to stay longer than their initial tenancy agreements, some have even been there for 5+ years. When Gareth chose to leave he initially asked to be transferred to one of our high-end HMO properties with enhanced facilities. However once it was explained that it wasn't a case of transferring him but was instead a completely new tenancy with a different landlord (so he would have to go through referencing again) he chose not to go ahead with the transfer. If Gareth was so apalled by the service that we provide I do not understand why he chose to transfer or indeed why no complaints (that he has now listed) were raised during the time of his tenancy.
