An appauling agent to deal with. Jennifer who used to work for this company did several inspections whilst renting from them for 3 years - don't think she was EVER polite when she came out and was quite happy in making you feel small (which seems the Countrywide Lettings way to be honest!). Moved out cos we had a leaking radiator which they did nothing about for a year, not to mention exploding light bulbs and faulty electrics (oven heater element blew up, extractor fan bulb also exploded, amongst other incidents) and not once did they bother to fix these. The cream of the crop however was the broken boiler which we were left to suffer in mid-winter for 2 whole weeks. After around 5 or 6 phone calls, they informed me that they hadn't even been in touch with the landlord to obtain permission for the repairs!! They were so bad I vacated the flat a month early. Now after moving out they still have not returned my deposit, but sent a letter and statement almost 2 months after moving out to issue a 60 pound admin fee and a 250 pound cleaning charge!! Disgusting agents, don't bother renting with these people unless you like being ripped off

Over the winter we are very busy with callers and the maintenance team typically has a long list of jobs.
Unfortunately; due to reduced staffing and the large amount of phonecalls, jobs and emails that we receive; we sometimes take a while to get around to each new request.
We apologise for it taking two weeks to contact the landlord in order to have your boiler repaired to working condition as this is not the level of service that we strive for.
We also apologize for the faulty alectrics and leaking radiator that we failed to have repaired after you had reported it.
We also apologize if our staff have been rude to you in any way.
The £60 cleaning fee is mandatory upon leaving as would have been mentioned in your contract.
If there is any way that we could make it up to you; we would have loved to.
Hopefully you are much happier in yoir current situation.
