I was a tenant with PML and for the duration of my tenancy I was met with nothing but rudeness and inconsistency from all the staff members. To anyone who is considering to rent from these people please save yourself a lot of problems and look elsewhere.
Moved into the property and it was never washed even though I was told it would be clean, the carpets were dirty and extremely stained and discoloured, there were red and yellow marks all over the bedroom walls. When i was viewing the property I was assured that the room would be professionally cleaned, and walls painted and everything else would be fixed, I was also told that all the bills were included in the rent but this was not the case.
It took MONTHS of me calling, emailing and physically going to their office for them to send the repair man to come look at the property, and when the man came he told me they will clean the room and change the carpet in 2 weeks time. 2 weeks came and left and nothing, waited another 3 months nothing happened.
They would let themselves into the property to do lord knows what, someone even came to the property and gained entry claiming to be the landlord , broke the letter box, damaged the front door, and when one of my flatmates told them this they all denied it and tried to blame the damage on us.
Then when i moved out they took ages to pay my deposit back and they would not answer my calls or emails, and when they did reply back it was always oh we are working with it, or it this or that. I had to formally threaten them with legal action for them to give me my money back.
In short, they never did what they said they would, carpets were never cleaned while i was there, water bills and internet bills were taken out of the rent whilst being told it was included before signing the contract. The house was dirty and they threatened the whole property to clean the house, despite it being their job to make sure the house was cleaned before moving in. People gaining access to the property at ungodly hours and having drunk people in our hallways banging on our doors.
I am now going to bring a legal claim against them for breach of contract, and professional malpractice and I will be going in for them to be shut down and lose their license as well, considering the amount of stress and heartache they put me through during my tenancy with them.
I have never met a group more unprofessional, lazy, rude and disrespectful than them, they were nothing but a big problem from day one. Please avoid this agency of thieves.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Be honest, be professional, be considerate and respectful and most importantly they should have done their job like it is supposed to be done and not cheat innocent and hard working people out of their hard earned cash.
