No issues viewing the property, the agent was perfectly polite and helpful. Issues began when my wife and I began inquiring about the application process.
The £1000 deposit was requested on faith. On asking if we could have a simple e-mail guaranteeing us that we would have the deposit returned if our application was not successful. We were told we had to simply trust them, refusing to take 30 seconds to send a one line e-mail. Lewis (who told us he is the general manager) quickly became agitated and rude despite our trying to remain polite and courteous. The short phone call ended abruptly when he hung up on us after we mentioned he was being quite rude. I am sure this was all recorded and on their records.
We are a professional couple and wanted to rent the property. We were looking to proceed but the events previously mentioned prevented this. Any attempt to try to remedy things was simply met with agitation.

I am terribly disappointed in this unprofessional behaviour and i sadly wont be perusing any other DRM properties. Hopefully the landlord of 11 Longstone Terrace becomes aware of how their property is being handled and hands it over to a different agency.
What agent could do to change your mind?

We are sorry to hear you have been unhappy with our service however we feel some of your comments are very unfair and others are not true at all. The owner decided to sell the property during your stay which was unfortunate but this could not be predicted by us therefore the information we gave you was accurate at the time. We are disappointed to hear your comments about our company however we do not agree with them. The results from the adjudication process carried out by Safe Deposit Scotland went in your landlord's favour and this was a result of the evidence provided to them by us during the claim process which clearly proved the claim was justified and accurate. We do not charge illegal fees, as members of ARLA we have to abide by a strict code of practice and part of doing that is to operate within the law. ...

They are a very dishonest agency. The time taken to repair things was appalling over the 2 years. At the end of the tenancy they used some old cupboard doors that were from before our tenancy and stored in a garage and fixed them in the kitchen and tried to say we had damaged the doors. This failed with the adjudicator because I had photographic evidence that the doors were in perfect condition the day we left from both my own photos and from the photos from the cleaning company.
