First, I will give you some facts about our acquisitions and methods. We have been residential property owners and Landlords since 1968 that is a very long time 43 years in fact. We started with one property which I managed without any agent or outside management involved. In all that time, we have accumulated of up to 15 lets. Made up of 7 two bedroom houses bought from new build with two parking spaces each. Then a development of 1 four bedroom flat with 2 parking places, 5 one bedroom flats one parking each which was our own building project in 2003 this was at the rear of a business property I had owned since 1981 which was also converted into two lock up shops in 2004. All properties are currently full and we have had very low void periods since we started using Ashley James Lettings some 3 years ago. Incidentally, Ashley is always on top of the new rules and regulations and unlike some other agents I have used in the past he does not have staff changes as I have constantly had to put up with in the past. Well over the years we had bought let and sold in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire. In that long journey, we have experienced many changes, now our approach is to make sure we use the best management. There are basic ground rules, like always making sure house maintenance up to date, gardens in good order, painting up to a good standard. Yes and where possible a parking place per bedroom. That last one is not always possible. Why then should we use Ashley James Lettings for our lettings and management package? Well ¢â‚¬Å“simple¢â‚¬Â as the Meerkat would say. Of all the estate agents I have ever used they are simply the best. Never have I had to wait to speak direct to Ashley or not had a call back promptly from him if he was otherwise engaged, his business is family run no boring menu to plough through and his services can include full Management at very competitive rates. All areas of letting from accounts, Management, rent collecting with direct settlements of accounts to our bank, checking in and out of tenants at start, with routine visits during and then final checkout at the end of rental terms. This lettings company has inventories that are superb and believe me we have seen all sorts from some agents we have used in the past, that were really not up to the standard we required.
