Allen & Harris: Tenant finding service to include Tenancy agreement and Inventory.
Original tenancy agreement, scruffy and only partially stapled, delivered 27 days late
Withheld originals of the guarantors' statements. Provided illegible copies.
Did not pass on the tenants deposit until threatened with legal action..
Did not provide the tenancy agreement in the format contracted.
Overcharged me (still not refunded after 2 reminders and 6 weeks wait)
MIS-INFORMED THE TENANTS. that their rent was not due until 1 and 5 days month after it was due, thus incorporating 2 flaws: giving them a rent-free month and tewlling them they could pay by standing order 5 days later than they need to.. Since their rent is DUE on 24th each month of course it must be paid on the 19th of each month to ensure it is in my account on 24th.
Possibly provided the wrong tenancy agreement (this one still with the lawyers)
I was very sad that a company that was so highly recommended to me should fall so far short of a satisfactory service.
What agent could do to change your mind?
