I arranged a viewing with Carla,it was on behalf of my sister who is moving from Essex on the day of the viewing I was let in by the vendor as Carla had yet to arrive on completion of my viewing Carla arrived with a couple who were viewing first complaint I wasn't told I would be viewing with other people,I asked Carla if the asking price was correct,she it was I said I wanted it on my sisters behalf,I asked what was the next move,her reply was I will need your sisters solicitors name,I will be in the office at 5 o'clock,I will call her she didn't my sister phoned and was told a message would be given to Carla,Next day Saturday numerous phone calls to the office and Carla is busy,Monday my sister phoned and eventually got through to Carla who said another couple had offered the asking price and the vendor was overwhelmed.My sister put an offer in of £5000.00 over the asking price every time myself or my sister phoned Carla was never available,A surveyors report showed up considerable problems two of which were gas and electric which were deemed as dangerous.My sister phoned and once again Carla was busy,my sister explained the situation the vendor needed to do the work or lower the price and my sister would do the work,eventually Danielle phoned and said the vendor would not agree to anything,my sister decided to withdraw her offer.Monday lunchtime Carla phones to ask what was going on regarding purchase my sister informed Carla of the report and offered to send a copy,Carla agreed with my sister that things did indeed need to be rectified as most probably no one would get a mortgage,also the surveyor had said the property was only worth £10 000 less than the asking price in its present condition.Carla said she would phone the vendor and explain what needed to be done and how it would likely be with future buyers,she promised she would phone my sister with an answer,guess what it's nearly a week since my sister spoke to Carla.So what is my complaint?in all my years of business I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism,lack of courtesy,and down right apathy ,customer care is not something that I think by reading other reviews have ever been trained in. But good old common sense and manners would have sufficed.
If you value your sanity do not use Goodchilds Estate Agency!
What agent could do to change your mind?
I have read all of the reviews and noted was the recommendations were,as things clearly have not improved it pointless in advising anything cause Goodchilds don't appear to have taken any steps to even begin to address the problem.
