I was selling my Mum's house as she had dies I rang 3 local agents, Bradleys, Millers and Salisbury Henderson for a market appraisal and to instruct one of them to sell the house for me. I made the appointments for the same day and within 1 hour of each other. Twice Salisbury Henderson tried to reschedule despite the fact I was only available on that day and when they did finally arrive at the property they were 20 minutes late with no phone call beforehand stating they were going to be late. The lady was very disinterested, did not want to really look around the property in any great detail unlike the other Agents who were there for 45 minutes and when I tried to point out selling points such as a cellar she said "oh buyers are not interested in cellars" whereas the other 2 Agents thought the cellar was a fantastic selling point. She stayed all of 10 minutes and then proceeded to show me a list of other properties that were nothing like Mums house that were for sale in the area and then put a price on the house a full £40,000 less than the other 2 agents. I felt insulted and that even though she knew my Mum had died she showed no respect for the house or myself. The other 2 Agents were extremely respectful and helpful, needless to say the house went on the market with one of the other 2.

We have looked at our records and can't find any market appraisal in May or June 2015 that fits in with the above comments. Would be happy to look again at the circumstances if Laura would like to contact us, as we simply cannot understand how we would take that approach in any circumstances at all.
