Tried to sell our house for one year with Savills.
Less than half a dozen viewings. Given absolutely no advice on how to improve things!
Promised accompanied viewings but no one ever available. Insisted once as we were away and apparently agent's wife showed the prospective purchasers around. These viewers returned after we changed agents and said they had not seen one room, had been told heating was oil (it's gas) and asked 3 questions which agent couldn't answer and said they'd come back on- never did.
We changed agents (week before Christmas) and had 2 offers ( within same price band Savills were working to) within 2 weeks.
