After ignoring serious complaints about the property for months and hiding the intentions of the landlord (they intended to sell the property) both Carolle and Rachel in the lettings department took it upon themselves to attempt to steal our deposit. Only after threatening court action and wasting major amounts of our time were we able to recover a part of our deposit.

Insulting, rude, lying little schemers. I strongly advise giving Clive Watkin a wide berth. These guys couldn't care less whether you're moving into a property with or without children - you'll get screwed over just the same.

Complaining to their "management" won't make any difference either. A law unto themselves once the contract has been signed...
What agent could do to change your mind?
An entire overhaul of the procedures and a complete review of customer care procedures.
