When we saw the flat, it was being refurbished. The Agent, Mr C, said that there would be carpet on the stairs. After we signed the contract, we moved in to the flat, but no carpet was placed. The stairs looks terrible and it was full of staples from the old carpet that was removed. When asked, Mr C (from Wimbledon branch) said that he never mentioned about the carpet. We were three people who heard him saying that. Unfortunately, we did not ask it to be included in the contract, so there was nothing we could do, neither ask.

There was a problem with gas leak. We called the agency (G F was the property manager) dozen times and it took them about two months to get gas running through the stove! They never call back! We never received any compensation neither heard any apologies for this.

The washing machine broke down and again, after several calls (they never call back!), they replaced the machine in almost one month after it had been reported to the agency. R T was the property manager.

There was a problem with the shower tap. There was no cold water running through it and very little hot water. I called R T explaining the problem emphasising that it was urgent, because we could not have shower. After a couple of days (we had shower somewhere else), we managed to call her and she had not contacted anyone to fix it. It took them about two weeks to fix the shower tap! Again, they never called back!

We had a problem with mould, broken floor and water infiltration in the bathroom and in the bedroom beside it. We contacted R T and we were completely ignored! After about four months and dozens of calls (because they never call back and rarely reply emails!) I had to contact the Environmental Health Department. Now things are starting working. Someone came into the flat today to "have a look" and with a lot of pray everything will hopefully be fixed.
What agent could do to change your mind?
What the agent could have done to help you change your mind? Treat the tenants with respect, responding the emails, calling back and sorting things out. I will never use Ludlow Thompson Estate & Letting Agents again!

That certainly does sound a very frustrating situation. We would really like to learn and investigate your issues further in order to help you and resolve your issues. We can look at the events that took place and anyone involved.It's unfortunate some items were not stated on the agreement as Landlords cannot be held to anything unless it's stated in a written agreement.
