We were at first really impressed with Townends and the second property we saw with them we absolutely loved. However, once our main contact went away on holiday it all fell apart. We had some issues with the contract and guarantor agreement (something we have requested be changed previously in other rental properties with no issues) that we raised straight away but were misinformed repeatedly about what could or couldn't be done to reach an agreement. We were constantly given a new person to talk to, it seemed impossible to reach anyone at times and nothing seemed to be done with any urgency. We were actually only given the go ahead to move the day before the scheduled move date. We would be very dubious about working with them again following this poor customer service - considering the cost of the fees they've charged us we certainly don't feel we've had our moneys worth.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Again, considering the cost of the fees we were not made to feel like a paying customer, more rather a nuisance that was getting in the way.
