The service provided doesn't suit at all a prestigious estate agency..

1st we provided the agency and the referencing company with our monthly income and they both said it was fine .. as the day we had to move in the referencing agency you they deal with asked us to pay an extra 2900 GBP. and we struggled to pay the amount as the didn't accept the cash nor a bank transfer and they didn't have a card machine .. they only accept online payments and we were new arrival students to UK. Note as well that the agency charged 500 GBP fees which is much higher than all other agencies we visited and the took this non refundable amount before they ask for the 2900 extra !

we were supposed to take the apartment on the 6th of February and they gave it to us on the 11th yet they wanted us to pay for they days that we weren't there and we had to stay at a hotel at ..

2nd we requested a professional cleaning when we took the apartment yet it wasn't cleaned well. We also had comments and other requirements Ex: there are no curtains and we completed a month now, they didn't gave us the permission to install ones, 2 of the blinds installed are ruined and 2 windows require fixing, we also requested to install a TV satellite from the viewing appointment and they said okay at the beginning but never gave us the final permission to go with it while we are paying a SKY subscription already, in addition, we requested a plumber 3 times in 2 weeks and no body called. at least a follow up from the agency would've been appreciated !! have they ever heard of customer service ???
Every time we send an email to out property manager she never replies !! we have to go and meet her at the agency yet never got anything from what we asked for ..

Last but not least .. the rent of the first month was set for a direct debit 950 GBP while it was supposed to be 608 GBP. that is a huge mistake to do to a student ! they should pay more attention with others money as much as they do for themselves !!

As much as I adore the apartment it self I really hate the fact that it is in the hands of this agency.
What agent could do to change your mind?
This Agency took a higher non refundable fee than all other agencies we visited before they provide us with any service. If it wasn\'t for the 500 GBP that we paid at the very beginning I would\'ve looked for another apartment with another agency when they delayed our move in date
