Well where to start...Very poor communication, do not respect their customers, and liars!
Within the first month of living in the flat i rented there were issues. When i viewed the property i was told all issues will be resolved ready for move in date...Well the place still had smells of smoke, and mould everywhere. My water pump was leaking since i moved in, took them 2-3months to repair so this meant i had verly little water pressure for all that time, and i also had a 9 week old baby at that time. Then upon leaving and getting my deposit back, well the contract taht i hold and the one i signed says it will be returned within 10 days of leaving the property. I left this property August 5th and its now September 2nd, and have still not recieved anything. Constant phonecalls made to them. Was told that THEIR contract says it does not have to be let out untill 30days after leaving so they did not reissue me the new contract so i am going by the terms that i have signed. Was then told they cant release the deposit untill the landlords signs to comfirm this then took them another week as the landlord stated they did not recieve the email. Then was told it will be processed on Friday should be into your account within 2-3 days. So we have just had a bank holiday so should have been in there by Thursday but i checked today sept2nd and still NOTHING !!!!!!!!! Calls made again this morning and said its on the way...''no excuses'' i've had enough...i tried to call head office would not put me through to anyone higher said i had to go through lettings, so no help given. My mother in law luckily enough still had a number to speak to someone in head office as she has had problems with them herself in the past. She gave them a call and tehy said they will look into the problem and get back to her. After the phone call i recieved a call from the property manager again and she said she spoke with teh accounts department and they have no processed anything as of yet. This is not good enough as i was told this was being done last Friday. She said they were doing it today and will be in my bank by Tuesday. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! Recieved another call about an hour ago and she said they can now do a bank transfer for it to go into my account today.... Lets see what happens now...
I will NEVER go through Romans again and i would NOT refer them to anyone else...
