AWFUL these people had no clue what they were fiance ended up renting a cute cottage from them cuz i was moving to england for 6month but the problems were from the start!.My fiance started doing the paper work in mid janurary and should have had the keys to the place by the 15 or 16 of feb but no they messed him about til almost the end of feb an then the woman who was there to do the sign over had no clue what she was doing she did not have the electric or gas on "we had to do pre-paid gas and electric" she said she was trying for a hr to turn on the electric turns out she screwed the electric key meter thing up and it took us a whole day to fix it plus the next day moving in we were told a guy was coming to remove the tiles around the closed up "and badly closed up i might add" fireplace and plaster over were the tiles were.while cleaning the place "cuz it was dirty when we moved in had to look a place over in the dark" we found black marks on the walls and MOLD on the walls near the window!.i ended up calling them once a week due to they keep telling me they would call me back to come out and look at the place and take care of the problems they never did the back door leaked and we ended up having to fix it..about a month and a half 2 months into it the case worker for the place either quit or was fired so it bounced from person to person..they never did anything when it came to fixing the place there were so many damn problems with what was a cute cottage "it needed more TLC then what the owner was willing to put into it tho how sad",they even told me when i called them before leaving the uk that we would not have to pay any rent in aug they said no cuz thats when we were handing the keys much for not charging us they still charged my fiance for aug 2 days before the hand over ws to take place then the guy "yes another one" said they did not do direct debit which is a lie how else would we have had to pay each month...we are sposed to get the rent month back plus the deposit back ill be suprised if we do...there a pain to deal with the only people that like them must be landlord/ladies or people that are renting pretty much a new build home....northwood is awful i would not recomend them to anyone...thank god we dont rent from them no more....still sad tho because i liked the cottage but it will never be nice til someone gets it that will take the proper care of short northwood bad not worth it and a pain to rent from!.
What agent could do to change your mind?
awful to many people tryed to or were managing our case it was a pain they lied and never called back when they said they short AWFUL!

agent nothing but alot of excuses i have had before from the company time and again i will not be renting from ur company again and pls note it's not a good thing for ur company to have one of ur workers end up telling the renter that the house was cleaner at the hand over back to ur company then when u handed it over to said renter..and yes the house was dirty and dusty when we got it! was clean as can be when it was turned back over to u...i hope u will not be so slow with other renters in the future!.

In this instance, there were some factors slightly beyond our control (the delays to move-in were caused by slow return of crucial referencing, not by any lack of effort on our part), and some where we could and should have tightened up control - we relied too much on our expectations of what the owner committed to having done, without pushing it through.
