Just called up to ask about a property and asked for information for the fee's involved...
£150 for the tenancy agreement
£75 pp for a credit check
£90 admin fee
£50 for something else, I stopped the guy on the phone from talking at this stage! £440 for fee's?!?!?! No wonder that house is still vacant, even though the monthly rent is great the initial fee's make it totally unrealistic. It would take us 3 months to make that money back in saved rent!

Wish i could contact the landlord directly!

You can. Just contact the Land Registry, on line, and for £4 you can get the n/a of the owner of the property who is presumably the landlord.
