Having been told of a offer accepted on a property, on entwistles advice to get a mortgage in place asap which i did whithout delay [2days] I was told the property was proceeding and to organise a survey [£400] I was told that the seller was happy and that a quick sale would be great.
3 days later I got told that a cash offer had come in and that they were putting it forward, unless I wanted to incrfease my offer. I found this a bidding war that entwistle had created. They told people of my offer which I thought was confidential, and so as a result I had lost the property. They failed to answer an email asking them to stop the survey so I would not lose any money but they never answered it.
All in all a very unreliable service which they choose to work to there own advantage.
They are rule benders and very unprofessional.

They pulled the same stunt with us. Told us once we had a survey booked the house would be taken off the market. When the survey was in progress they called me saying a cash buyer had just come in and bid 7k more than us and if we wanted to continue then we would have to match. We later found out there was no cash buyer and he had only received interest off someone who hadn't even sold their house.

Terrible lack of communication. The agent actually emailed me a link of the house that we were meant to be buying stating that is was "new to the market". This was when we were days away from completing. Apparently it was to "shake us up ...
