Abysmal customer service, un pleasant people and very rude when you question them - then they threaten legal action when you disagree on leaving a property about "repairs". Considering the place was not cleaned when we moved in, there was no inventory when we moved in and there was no inventory taken when we moved out how can they charge for repairs? And what repairs??

Decided having spoken to the ombudsman that we have good cause to take them to court - also the Ombusdman is looking at our complaint and feels that there is enough evidence to penalise them.

Watch out David St James I'm on a crusade.........

Thank you for your review and please accept our sincere apologies if you feel you have cause to complain.

I believe we have already answered your complaint via our internal complaints procedure but just incase i have a mistaken identity i will address your issue.

Firstly and most importantly we, DavidStJames Ltd, at no time hold any security deposits. These are passed onto our landlords and held by them. We also at no point decide what your landlord charges you for whne vacating a property. A check in gets carried in and out get carried out, forwarded to both tenants and landlords and the landlord decides what if anything gets deducted from the security deposit. If the property is managed we act as the piggy in the middle and simply communicate with you what our client (the landlord) has instructed us. If the tenant/s disagree and requests the landlords details we are obliged by law to provide them to you within 21 days. If i am correct in your identity, these where given to you weeks ago so am slightly confused as to why you are still writing bad reviews against DavidStJames when you have acknowledge we A) do not hold your deposit and B) have absolutely no say of what monies do or do not get deducted.

I strongly suggest you seek independent legal advise and if your landlord has still not returned your deposit i would advised you commence legal proceedings for its recovery.

Please also note that we as yet have not heard from the property Ombudsman regarding your case but will assist them if and when we receive correspondence.
