Dealing with Julien has been the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a property agent. I would strongly recommend that you do not deal with this company. My experience exactly mirrors that of the other terrible review on here! I'm sure that Julien will write back with an excuse as he did with the previous review but there is no smoke without fire! I just wish I had seen the previous review before I dealt with him in the first place.
This guy is totally unprofessional, rude and has never heard of the words customer and service. I had agreed to rent a property with a landlord, provided an exemplary reference, sent through a pay slip and showed a bank statement, so as far as I was concerned I would be moving in at the end of the month.
Then Julien got involved, firstly he sent through the contract over a week late after chasing every day and because he had taken so long to sort it out I'd had to move out of my previous property and stay with someone as a favor, but I'd been told the place was mine so had no reason to question that.
When I finally received the contract the payment terms were different to what had been agreed plus he was asking for a £50 admin fee that was never talked about or advertised. When I questioned this to clarify it with him he was very rude, he then called the landlord and advised him to no longer let me move in because I was causing problems!!! I was never rude I just wanted to clear it up and even offered to agree to the terms but he said smugly "sorry you've lost your chance".
He has made me homeless, I just can't believe what he has done to me for no reason at all! He is a nasty piece of work who does not care about the problems he causes people. I have looked on the ombudsman's website and he is not registered a registered property agent so I can't make a complaint with them but I will be looking for other authorities to bring this up with, if anyone can suggest one I would be very grateful?

I have never met you as you know. You looked at a Bedroom with the owner directly not me...then The landlord asked me to collect some references, your job reference was great but your Landlord's reference was not from the Landlord but a managing agent who wrote a reference with no details and no headed paper...anyway the landlord asked to delay the moving in date by one week from the 1st to the 8th...it was apparently notified to you that the rent was payable monthly...then when we asked you to make your full payment you said that it was agreed the first so you wanted to pay 3 weeks rent and pay the 1st of every month afterwards, the Landlord said the rent is due monthly so you pay every 8th to the 7th...but you were not happy and argue about even stepping in the flat...the Landlord felt uncomfortable that you argue about such a frivolous point and decided to withdraw his offer...I do not quite understand why you are blaming me when in fact you are the only one to blame. I am really sorry you think that i am the cause of your trouble but i really do not know how as i never met you and never agreed terms with you...I was just here to collect references and collect payment. Good continuation. With kind regards, Julien Pitras
