I rented a studio property in South Norwood from QMH for 12 months and the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish.
They failed to mention to me prior to signing my life away that my little studio flat was also being billed by EDF for the 2 bed flat across the hall. As it turns out, my neighbour's power supply fed directly off of mine owing to a shoddy conversion job. I couldn't understand why my bills were so high considering I was at work all day. If my neighbour hadn't informed me of the issues that the previous tenant had with getting them to address the matter, then I would've been unknowingly paying EDF for both properties electric consumption.
After months of trying to get them to address the matter, they eventually sent one of their own electrician's to have a look (and he wasn't complimentary about having to work with them either). Following this, there were many strongly worded emails sent back and forth, and my parents had to get involved. We informed QMH that we would seek legal action for breach of contract and involve the press if they failed to resolve it by such and such a date - but they never met any deadlines at all!
It wasn't until my boyfriend began negotiating with them as my legal rep that they finally agreed to take over the EDF account and I pay them a set sum of money each month for the electric. By this point I had 3 months left of my tenancy and had spent the best part of a year battling with Tiffany and Layla to get the matter sorted. Tiffany refused to even speak to me or reply to emails towards the end as she felt I was being rude. What's rude is ripping people off with your extortionate fees/admin charges, renting crappy flats to people and refusing to fix your own mess - which I was paying for!
Layla and Tiffany are the most incompetent, rude, dim-witted and unprofessional people I've ever had the misfortune of coming across. Their idea of customer service leaves very little to be desired! I'm surprised that QMH is still in business with those two manning the front desk. An absolute joke and shambles and it's those unsuspecting customers I feel sorry for. They have no idea what they're signing up for.
My advice to anyone considering using QMH? Run! Run as far and as fast as possible from these people. They do not give a stuff about what's right and wrong, and care even less about the welfare of their tenants. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
What agent could do to change your mind?
If QMH operated with any kind of morals or standards, I could be persuaded to forgive. However, they're cowboys and couldn't give a stuff about their customers - yet they're more than happy to take your money from you.

Comment on agent fees
Their fees are astronomical! Out of a ‚£1700-1800 deposit, they returned just over ‚£800 - that's with no additional deductions during final check-out. Final checks/inventory alone costs in excess of ‚£150 and all Layla did was walk around with a clipboard for less than 5 mins. Jokers.
