I've only been a tenant for a short while, but I've found them slow, unhelpful, vicious bullies.
I've had to make a payment late - it should have gone over the weekend. However, was called first thing today to say my payment hasn't been made. Fine. I get that. But then they asked 'why haven't you told us before?' ... because you've called me first thing after the weekend? Maybe? The agent used 'we'll have to put that as late payment and it's going on your record' as a threat - not informing but as a bullying tactic.
They've been slow to respond to me - when I've called the service man I've not been informed when he would arrived - and then, when asked, not been informed when he would be late or not turning up.
They refuse to budge from their side of the contract, consider new options, be accommodating to needs, provide any helpful information or even treat tenants as if they were people.
