Ours was an estate probate sale, which are tricky at the best of times. Prior to going to market with Mosley Jarmen, the house had been on the market for 2 years with two other Bramhall Agents, with only 3 viewing between them. It had been withdrawn for 6 months, and when it was time to remarket, we chose Mosley. I was able to speak directly and meet Nick Mosley, and he was reassuring in a turbulent sale, where not every party selling saw eye-to-eye. Nick was able to intermediate between parties, and a suitable plan of action of selling was agreed.
We originally dealt with Rachel, as prior to open market, a couple who were looking specifically for our type of house, already looking through Mosley, had put in an offer, which we accepted. This unfortunately fell though on completion day, though no fault of ours or Mosley Jarmens, it was traumatic for everyone involved, but handled in a very sympathetic way by Rachel.
We decided to prep the house for an open day type of viewing, set the date, and within the week, Ellie had lined up 8 viewings. All were in a buying position except one. We had several offers the Monday following the Saturday days viewing, and were able to accept "best and final offer" by the Tuesday night. We have had some delays and ups and downs in the 8 weeks that followed, mainly due to solicitors not wanting to speak with estate agents!!! I was a nervous seller, due to the problems with the last sale, but I am thrilled to say completion was last week, and Ellie was fantastic throughout, she took every call (sometimes 3 a day- she knew my number by the end!) and no problem was overlooked. She was supportive and friendly, even when things got frustrating the afternoon of exchange.
I would have no hesitation in using them to sell my own house and they were professional and supportive, even when the stress started. Thanks to all the team.
