The agency mainly treats with students or young foreigners who are trying to find a "cheap" place in London. When me and my boyfriend went there to find a place, an agent showed us a room in a shared flat in Old Street. The house was quite nice and the room included twin beds, wooden floor and two wardrobes. The room was still occupied by two girls that, at the moment, where not at home. We decided to take the room. When we moved into the room, a couple of weeks later, we found out that the room available was not the one they showed us, but it was a smaller room with a dirty carpet and a terrible wardrobe. They told us they made a mistake with the numbers of the rooms, but they didn't provide for any solution, even if our situation was terrible. We decided to keep the room anyway, because we had no other choice, and we asked them at least to send us the double bed (which we paid) and to clean the carpet, since I'm an allergic and the room had not been cleaned after the previous tenants moved out. After a week, several phone calls and visits to the agency in person, they still havn't sent us the bed and the carpet is still dirty, also because the hoover doesn't work. The girls who live here told us that when they moved into the flat, it was really dirty and with little furniture and utilities. The dishwasher has been broken for months and before we arrived there has been no internet connection for months.

Comment on agent fees
Extortionate, he does not return deposits and is ripping off vulnerable young tenants. I hope the judge imposes a hefty fine or bars him from the London property market.
