Talked to a number of staff and arranged a viewing. Agreed to move forward - staff asked for Holding Deposit which was paid. Told their staff in writing that the tenancy application would be with them in a few days time and advised that we expected to proceed and would make arrangements for payment of 6 months rent in advance and in cash. However, they let another prospective tenant view the property and arranged a let.

Not impressed - apparent lack of communication between staff with some advising move-in date and no advice of alternative tenant when presenting application forms.

Staff say that they should have had application forms within 48 hours but they had not explained this when taking the deposit.

Some difficulty in initial discussion in obtaining a copy of the proposed tenancy agreement before signing the application. Application shows evidence of ambiguous wording.

Will NOT be looking to use this firm - suggest AVOID

I am very disappointed to read your comments, we continue to be market leaders in the lettings industry and have excellent records with both landlords and tenants. As I understand the team did inform you that viewings had taken place at the property as we had not received a signed application form. Unfortunately we cannot secure properties on verbal agreements alone and we do require the application to either be completed in the office or taken away and returned within 24/48 hours. As discussed via our telephone conversation a full refund has been issued.
