We waited 3 weeks after paying the holding deposit until get the formal contract. They didn't give us the formal contract until the previous day of moving in. After we signed it, they called us saying that the landlord changed his idea on things we already agreed at the beginning (3 weeks ago). The thing is that this was at 5pm on the day before the planed move in. The agency said, if we were not going to accept the new offer of the landlord, we couldn't move in on our planed date and we would have to wait for another 2 days for the person in charge to come back from leave. Couldn't imagine if our check out date of previous address due on the planed moving date. Might have gone homeless.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Simply explained the clause in the contract they made. Told me in the beginning that they will not be responsible for managing property rather than lying then that they will take care of any problem I have.
