House was filthy upon arrival at the property despite staff claiming it had been cleaned- obviously untrue as mud was on the floors and slug trails vastly covered the carpets, kitchen floor, worktops, and kitchen pots and pans. Despite numerous problems in the property which we repeatedly asked to be fixed, Direct Housing would ignore emails and postpone maintenance, sometimes by months. For example we were left with broken heating for a significant duration of time in winter leading to high levels of damp, rendering our property a cold and miserable place to live in. Staff were rude upon every encounter, uninterested in providing any level of customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Direct Housing at all times will endeavour to make our students' experience as exciting and comfortable as possible. These particular tenants and this particular tenancy is very isolated if not solitary judgement. We are aware of the students, and we will deal with this incident independently. We would just like anyone to know who may be potentially reading this, that these are malicious false accusations and that an inventory was signed by all three tenants at the beginning of their tenancy. The tenants were without heating for several weeks due to access problems from the tenants side. Please do not let the opinion of clearly one head tenant cloud your judgement.

This was a four double bedroom semi-detached property in a superb location at a very reasonable rent. The tenants had a regular personal gardener that attended the house paid for by the Landlord. We always allocate a head tenant at the start of a tenancy who is our first point of call. Head tenants are notified when viewings are taking place, and on the occasion our lettings staff were running late on of the tenants carried out the viewing herself for which we actually paid her commission for h ...

I am very disappointed to read this review, especially as we went out of our way to help these tenants. This property was initially instructed on a Let Only basis - we were not the managing agents for this property. We were made aware that the tenants were experiencing communication problems with the landlord and we felt compelled to help. We acted as mediator between the tenants and landlord to try to help the tenancy run as smoothly as possible. Due to the frustration experienced by all we are ...

We are interested to know what false information was supplied in your tenancy agreement. Some repairs take time to fix, regardless of whether you come in every day some maintenance issues cannot be done instantly, for example internet. Although it was included in your rent, the supplier was responsible, not Direct Housing. We are aware of which property this is and the current tenants are very pleasant - we will speak to them directly. This was at the beginning of their tenancy, and the tenancy ...
