Absolutely awful. They appear to be very professional once first looking at student lets, though this soon changes. We put down a deposit for the property and were told this would go into a secured scheme, it was only until I rented another property that it became apparent key homes DO NOT follow protocol and instead keep it to themselves. This is probably because upon returning a deposit, they try and keep it all for work on the property that was never done when you move in. The property when we moved in was a state! They hadn't provided things they said they would and everything was in such a state it took us at least two days to clean. We rang key homes on various occasions and they would a) ignore the call b) say they would pass the call onto someone else or c) say someone else was dealing with it and they were busy. No one EVER got back to us. They were rude and unprofessional. When it came to the time the lease was up they did not inform us of viewings and instead just showed up with groups of people. I am sure they tried to have us over as we were students but unfortunately for them my dad is an estate agent and as soon as I quoted a few legal things they practically threw the deposit back at us they had withheld for weeks! They are the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with.

This agent knew their stuff and was always available when I needed them.
