Very useful and, I fear, confirming everything I suspected about this new type of agency, especially the bit about being tied to them regardless, or risk losing your outlay. I was seriously considering using PB as I will be selling my own house in a desirable N.Yorks village near Skipton, but I will now definitely look elsewhere. Thanks for the heads-up. ...

I can assure you this review is not only genuine but completely factual - unfortunately as I only wish we hadn't had to deal with these agents. compared to the ones we used to sell our house I can see exactly why they are so cheap. How cheap to suggest a review is not genuine rather than verify the details with their own staff. ...

Our initial valuation meeting with David went fine and he explained how the selling procedure should progress and how the online sale worked. He gave a range between £575000 and £625000 which was way above local agents' valuation, theirs being between £550000 and £575000 which I must admit seemed ...

'PB are all about the seller and literally don't care about the buyer - clearly they forget if they didn't have a buyer they wouldn't have sold the house' Purple bricks get paid from day one from the loan company, so selling the house is not important to them. If the owner does not sell their property they still have to pay purple bricks, so selling is just in the interests of the home owner. I would recommend on viewings take their number and speak to them directly. ...
