I had the misfortune to rent a flat from PropertyNet which later turned out to be owned by the manager/owner of PropertyNet - this was not made clear at the time of renting. As per previous comments, the promised remedial work had not been carried out before moving in and garden was out of control with Japanese knotweed. The house was also filthy with lots of rubbish strewn about (despite the claim that it had been professionally cleaned). Our lovely neighbour to the side had had previous issue...

Hi Without any specific details it is hard to respond suffice to say we currently employ a new maintenance and cleaning company who deal with all issues quickly and efficiently. We have received great reviews on their workmanship and customer service so thank you for bringing this matter to our attention though should you have told us during your tenancy we could have resolved this a lot more quickly. We are genuinely sorry to hear of your experience and obviously aim to improve our service w ...

Please, please, please read this review along with all of the other reviews before taking out a contract with this shambles of an estate agents. Part of our contract on moving into the property was that it would be re-painted, but on moving in the place was absolutely filthy, with the previous tenants belongings everywhere and a broken window downstairs. It took them days of pleading to begin working on any of these issues. Constant chasing of rude, aggressive and incredibly unhelpful staff memb...

We note the comments of the said tenant and believe they are the tenants of a property at Salisbury Walk N19 where we were only instructed to collect the rent and the Landlord was solely responsible for repairs. Our role was to co-ordinate between the parties, and in this instance I have noted that there was constant contact by email/phone with the tenants though would agree that the Landlords maintenance operatives were not efficient. We do sympathise with the time it took for the landlord to ...

One of the worst companies I have ever come across. My flatmates and I had to fight for our deposit back. They let themselves into our flat without any notice on several occasions. I would never use Property Net ever again. Poor excuse of a business....

We do not feel this is a fair review as we deal with 1000's of clients and tenants so would put this down to an isolated occurrence. We have strict procedures in place for the protection of the tenant's deposits, and all this is explained at the start of the tenancy. It can only be that you my have not followed part of the procedure which caused delays, though we are always on hand to help with any issues. We can only apologise for this experience suffice to say it is not shared by the many happ ...

Worst service I have ever experienced in any category. Have no interest in either the flats or the people they rent to. Never reply to emails or calls. And when you get hold of them they are always in a bad mood and don't want to help. We have had so many issues with the agency and would not recommend them to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. No one knows anything when you have any issues and no one want to take any kind of responsibility. Do not rent a flat from them...

This review seems very generic with no specific issues for us to address just a lot of mud slinging which is easy to do. As stated previously we deal with may 1000's of tenants and from time to time isolated events occur and they are exactly that, isolated, and not a true reflection of the way we do business and look after people. On many occasions we have paid out for things that the landlord refused just because it was the right thing to do though we do not advertise this fact, its just how we ...

Avoid these people. After rescheduling a couple of times, I met one of the agents for a viewing of a "very large studio flat". Apart from the fact that it wasn't large at all and it could have been good for one person and not 2, on leaving he clearly pointed out that I was wasting everyone's time because I "didn't know what I wanted" and to decide what I want before contacting people. That left me shocked and most of all the fact that he got so arrogant, lecturing me on how ...

You seem to have dealt with a member of staff that no longer works for the company. We always use integrity when assisting people trying to find a new home and as such if staff don't meet high standards inevitably they cannot work for our company. We regular monitor marketing and customer service so thank you for your feedback which has already had an effect as all staff now go through customer liaison courses. We would certainly be happy to help with any future property search you may have and ...

David such is the nature of the market that by the time a property has been advertised someone registered with us may have viewed it and offered. I can only assume this was the scenario here and can only think the person who rung you up was explaining this and seeing if there was any other property available for you. We certainly don't condone bad telephone manners and can only apologise to you on this occasion. As mentioned previously all staff now attend customer liaison courses so telephone c ...

I found property net difficult to deal with and was very disappointed by their level of service. On the day I moved into my flat I found a unit had been ripped off the wall and was lying in the kitchen. The flat had not been cleaned and (although property net had quickly painted the flat that morning) posters that the previous tenant had put up had been left on the walls and painted around. A broken fire alarm was left hanging from the ceiling and dirty laundry had been left in the washing machi...

Thank you for your feedback, to avoid any such issues we recently employed an inventory clerk so there are no discrepancies in relation to damages in a property, as this can leave a bad taste in the mouth even if the tenancy went generally well. We also work to strict time guidelines for the carrying out of repairs, though cannot always enforce this when the landlord is responsible for the repair which may have been the situation in your case. We apologise for any of the issues experience but ca ...

This agency is simply disgusting. They are so incompetent that any random person picked up from the street would be able to do a better job (they can't even read a standard council tax bill, let that sink in for a minute). Unfortunately they are not just incompetent, they are also rude, abusive liars. During the time we stayed at a property managed by them, they kept on lying about things like the flat having security certificates which it didn't actually have, or scheduling appointments with...

Their service is so disgusting that any fee above ‚£0 is way too much. In fact, they should be the ones paying their clients.

Obviously it is hard to respond to a lot of mud slinging. Details would appreciated as if we have fallen short in certain instances, this would help us improve these aspects. We can say that we are one of only a few agents that have repair timelines in their contracts to ensure fairness on all sides and we abide by these. Whilst we manage properties it is the landlord that has the final say on the completion of a repair and it seems clear that in your instance the delay was on the landlords side ...

We found a great property at a good price through PropertyNet but only then did the problems start - they told us we could move in on a certain date only to tell us the day before that the previous tenants wouldn\'t be leaving until the following day. Everything that went wrong with the property (and there were many things) was a hassle to get fixed. At the end of the tenancy they unfairly tried to withhold part of our deposit from us (we ended up getting it all back via the deposit protection s...

Thankyou for your review. It was likely that the landlord was responsible for not providing the property in a timely manner as unknown to many, behind the scenes, even if the property is managed by the Agent they can only work within the landlord authorities. We haves work hard to continually improve our service and your comments aren't a fair relocation of the many happy customers we deal with daily. We have excellent procedures for deposit administration and whilst it may delay things for a da ...
